Challenge
Manual Lease Contract Processing Across Multiple Systems A leading bank faced significant inefficiencies in processing lease contracts across multiple portals. The process involved extracting and reconciling data from PDF documents and navigating multiple internal systems—resulting in time-consuming manual steps, increased processing time, and a higher risk of human error.
Objective / Need
To automate the end-to-end processing of lease contracts—extracting, validating, and updating data across systems—to improve accuracy, reduce manual workload, and accelerate processing time.
Solution
An intelligent automation bot was deployed to handle the entire workflow. It extracted contract numbers from internal systems, pulled relevant data from signed PDF files, updated values in the lease platform, booked entries, downloaded attachments, and routed contracts for funding and validation. Reports were stored in input folders, and updates were logged automatically for further processing—eliminating manual handoffs.
Outcomes
- 6–8 Records Automated Daily: The bot seamlessly processes 6–8 lease contracts each day.
- Reduced Processing Time: Automation reduced processing time to ~30 minutes per record from 55 minutes manually.
- Faster Execution: The bot executes records faster than manual effort.
- Improved Accuracy: Automation delivers high precision and minimizes errors, ensuring consistent, reliable results.
